Why I Got a Liberty Garden Hose Reel
We use drip lines in our garden, but I still have to hand water until the seeds are more established. Because of this, we used to have a 150 foot hose spread out over the yard. I got this beautiful hose reel from Liberty Garden, and it has completely changed this section of our yard.
Instead of having our hose spread out over our property, it is now kept in one spot and looks much nicer. Eventually, I want to plant flowers at the base and make this space even more beautiful!
Setting Up this Wall-Mounted Hose Reel
My husband set up this hose reel on the outer part of our wood shed that is attached to our house. He used a scrap piece of wood to center it on the wood shed. It could also be attached to a building or a cemented wood stake.
We had to use a longer hose attachment than the one provided because it was a little bit further from the spigot due to the need to take it under the wood shed.
The main downside to this hose reel is that it did not include the screws needed for installation. My husband used what we had on hand, but they really weren’t the right size and caused the wood to split.
While we are going to get the correct screws eventually, I hope that the company provides the screws needed with their products in the future!
Is This Liberty Garden Hose Reel For Me?
This wall-mounted hose reel is perfect for anyone who wants to make their garden space more aesthetically pleasing and organized.
If you have a long walk from your spigot to your garden, this hose reel is a great option to make your garden space tidy. It also is really easy to clean up because all you have to do is spin the handle to reel it back up!

Is the Liberty Garden Hose Reel Worth It?
Liberty Garden offers a wide range of hose holders for a variety of prices. I love the simple, classic look of my wall-mounted Liberty Garden hose reel. It is pricey, but it is well-made, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to use.
The wall-mounted hose reels are not cheap; however, I do think they are worth the investment. If you are on a tight budget, the hose holders like this one are still beautiful but much less expensive!
