The camera does not work very well at night. But, you can still get some recordings if they are close enough to the camera.
How We Use Our Wuipet Smart Bird Feeder with Camera for Education
I am planning on homeschooling my kids by using a Charlotte Mason inspired education model. Charlotte encourages kids to spend hours outdoors observing nature, and this bird feeder has been a great way to learn more about the birds and mammals in our own backyard!
If we see a bird visit our feeder, we will go back later and observe it more closely. You can learn about what different birds prefer, what birds live in your region, and about the different beaks on various types of birds.

However, using it as both an educational tool and a home security camera makes it worth the investment! The video quality is clear during the day and has audio capabilities. We are able to capture both of our doors on the side of our house with just one camera!
