About Toups and Co Organics
Toups and Co was founded by Emilie Toups, a mother who wanted to find a solution for her daughter’s severe eczema. Her search led her family to a lifestyle of homesteading and homeschooling, while simultaneously starting an organic skincare and makeup company.
What You Put on Your Skin Matters
Did you know that your skin is the largest organ in your body? Some toxic chemicals can permeate the layers of our skin and enter our bloodstreams. You can also accidentally inhale (ex: fragrance) or ingest (ex: lip balm) chemicals found in beauty products. Because of this, I want to be more more mindful of what I put on my body–especially while I am pregnant.

Toups and Co Organics Ingredients
Toups and Co is committed to sourcing only the highest quality ingredients. The founder Emilie says, “It’s not good enough for you until it’s good enough for my own family.”
Toups and Co uses ingredients like grass-fed tallow, organic olive oil, and organic essential oils. They source their products in the U.S.—supporting small, family-run farms across the country.
The farms that they partner with have sustainable and fair-trade practices. Additionally, the final products are handcrafted in coastal Alabama.

Toups and Co Organics Natural Makeup Review
Below are my reviews of each product I tried from Toups and Co. I also included the current price per item, how to apply it, plus some of the benefits of each product! I have been using Toups and Co makeup for a few weeks, and my skin already looks brighter and feels healthier!
Flawless Face Primer ($46)
This bottle may only be 1 oz, but it is very concentrated and designed to last a long time.
The Flawless Face Primer helps create a smooth base for your foundation—helping with application and overall appearance. This primer is moisturizing and made from natural ingredients.
This natural face primer can be used with either liquid or powder foundation. It goes on smooth and doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry or oily. Furthermore, it provides your skin with hydration and antioxidants. This Flawless Face Primer includes natural ingredients such as aloe vera leaf juice, rosehip fruit oil, and lavender flower extract.
I haven’t used primer in years because I had some bad experiences with it in the past. To my joy, this one went on so smoothly and created a great base for my makeup.
This primer is also specifically designed for dry skin. I have struggled with dry-skin patches during pregnancy, so I was thrilled about finding a moisturizing primer that works well with dry skin! Within a few weeks of using this product, the dry patches on my face have disappeared.
I usually have issues with my makeup smudging off during the day due to being a busy, homesteading mom, but this primer kept it in place and smudge-free all day long!

How to Use:
Just apply one pump to your clean, dry face with your fingers or a makeup brush or sponge. Wait for it to dry before applying the rest of your makeup!
Mineral Makeup – Light ($37)
I rarely wear foundation, especially in the summer months. So, I love how this mineral makeup provides a light coverage without feeling heavy or overpowering. It just takes a small amount, and I think that this would work well as a setting powder, too. It is buildable, so you can add more for extra coverage.
I love how this mineral makeup comes with an easy twistable dispenser so that you don’t use up too much at once. My skin did have some dry patches when I first tried this mineral makeup, and it made them slightly more visible. If you have really dry skin, a more hydrating foundation like the liquid foundation might be a better fit.
This foundation comes in ten shades and is described as “a makeup that is actually good for your skin.” It includes minerals such as mica, iron oxides, and non-nano zinc oxide.

How to Use:
Simply tap a flat makeup brush into the powder, tap some off in the cap, and apply it to your face and neck in a circular motion. Because it is buildable, you can add as much or as little coverage as you want.
Cream Cheek Tint – Sienna ($23)
The color of this cheek tint is absolutely gorgeous! It added muted color to my cheeks but it wasn’t too bright. It’s a beautiful, natural shade and it goes on so smoothly! I also used it as a lip tint, and it was really hydrating and the color lasted for hours!
The Toups & Co website says that this cheek tint can be used as a cheek, lip, and eye tint… I love how versatile it is, making it well-worth the price!
This Cream Cheek Tint is available in four colors. This makeup gives you a natural glow without looking too shiny. It contains moisturizing ingredients such as organic carnauba wax, organic rosemary leaf extract, and organic vanilla planifolia.

How to use:
To apply this Cream Cheek Tint to your cheeks, dab a little onto your cheekbones and rub it in with your hands or a makeup sponge. You can apply it to your lips just like a lip balm!
Cream Luminizer Pot – Rose Gold ($28)
I have tried highlighters in the past, but this one is my new favorite! In the past, I used a lighter colored highlighter that looked too harsh and unnatural. This rose gold luminzer brightened up my complexion without being too noticeable. This cream-based makeup looks natural and blends in well.
Available in two shades, this luminizer gives you a natural, brightening glow! It has ingredients like coconut oil, cocoa seed butter, and vitamin E.

How to Use:
Apply a small amount to the tops of your cheekbones, brow bone (right under your eyebrows), Cupid’s bow (above your lips), and the corners of your eyes. This multi-purpose cream can also be used to add extra shimmer to your lips or eyes!
Bronzer – Touch of Sun ($36)
This bronzer is the perfect color and it added just enough depth to my summer tan while still looking natural! I was so sad because I dropped the container on my first day of receiving it, but thankfully only the case broke and the makeup didn’t crack.
This bronzer, combined with the cream luminizer, is perfect for subtle contouring.
Currently, Toups and Co only offers one shade of this bronzer, but it is said to work for many skin tones. It is more matte than dewey, and it contains ingredients like rice powder, jojoba seed oil, and oregano leaf extract.

How to Use:
You can use it to contour your face by applying it with a brush along your hairline, in your cheek hollows, along the sides of your nose, and along your jaw line.
Natural Eye Makeup Palette – Original ($38)
I have been wanting a neutral eye makeup palette for a while. I have been using another eyeshadow set for years, but it came with a lot of bright colors that I will probably never use and the more natural colors were starting to run out.
Toups and Co Organics offers a natural eye makeup palette, and I absolutely love these natural shades for every-day wear. I also use the darker colors to lightly line my eyes, similar to an eye liner.
This palette comes in two colorways, a neutral set of three and a more vibrant date-night set. Both are beautiful and offer a variety of tones and colors.
Something else that I love about this palette is that it is reusable. You can purchase refills for less or build your own palette. The shades attach with a magnet making this a sustainable form of packaging that can be used for years!
This eye makeup is easy to blend and lasts a long time due to its high pigmentation. It contains mica, grape seed oil, and organic rosemary leaf extract.

How to Use:
Apply this eye shadow to your eyelids with a small makeup brush or your finger. I like to put the lightest color in the corner of my eye closest to my nose, the medium color over most of my eyelid, and then the darker color in the opposite corner and crease. Make sure to blend well!
Long Lash Mascara – Black ($26)
I have pretty sensitive skin and I have had issues with mascara causing my eyes to itch in the past. I wore this mascara all day without any complaints! Other reviewers also commented on how it is the only mascara that doesn’t irritate their eyes.
It lengthened and thickened my lashes without making them clumpy or smudged. I do wish it came in a larger size because I’ll be using it daily!
This natural mascara is available in both black and dark brown. It is nourishing and contains ingredients like rosemary, cinnamon bark, and vanilla.

How to Use:
Brush the mascara from the base of your lashes to the tip. Repeat until you reach the desired fulness.
Brow Pencil – Deep Taupe ($28)
Unfortunately, my eyebrows had a bad run-in with tweezers back in sixth grade. I plucked off 3/4 of them… right before picture day, and they never recovered! I have tried for years to re-grow my brows, but they are still pretty patchy in the middle.
That is why I absolutely love this brow pencil! The color blended perfectly with my brows and looked natural. I love how it has a brush on one end and the pencil on the other. I have used other brow pencils in the past, but I prefer how this one has an angled tip for a more natural-looking application. If your brows were subject to the early 2000s tweezers craze, I highly recommend this brow pencil!
Toups and Co offers brow pencils in three shades. It includes castor oil which encourages hair to grow, which is what I definitely need considering the plucking fiasco mentioned above!

How to Use:
Use natural small strokes to fill in your brows. Brush it out once finished.
Other Toups and Co Organics Products I Want to Try
I am planning on ordering a liquid foundation from Toups and Co, but I need to find my shade first. I love how they offer sample packs so that you can determine the correct shade without spending a lot on a whole bottle!
Additionally, I would like to try their skincare products. The Toups & Co cleanser, exfoliator, and mask are some of my wish list items for skincare. I appreciate how they offer skincare starter sets so that you can get everything all in one bundle and save!
I do make my own tallow balm, but if you don’t have time or access to beef fat to render tallow, I have heard nothing but great things about Toups & Co’s tallow balm!
Tips for Purchasing Toups and Co Organics Natural Makeup Products on a Budget
If you are wanting to buy clean makeup but can’t afford to purchase everything at once, try switching over one thing at a time as you finish your previous products.
You can also use my CODE THEMILLERACRES10 to save 10% on your Toups & Co order!
I know sustainability and clean products are important, but so is living within your means. If you can’t purchase everything on your wish-list at once, add to your collection slowly over time! Even small changes can have a huge impact on your health over time.

Overall Review of Toups and Co Organics
I have been wanting to try Toups and Co for years, and I was not disappointed! Their makeup is more expensive than the “natural” drugstore brands I bought in the past, but the clean ingredients, gorgeous shades, and flawless application make it more than worth the investment!
I can’t wait to try more products from Toups and Co, and it feels so good knowing that what I am putting on my skin is actually good for my skin.
